Viñuela Sew & Sews

Who are we?

The Vinuela Sew & Sews  are a group of friends who meet up on a weekly basis to chat, stitch and improve their needlework knowledge. Originally known as "Periana Stitchers" the ladies decided to rename themselves in order to reflect their new base at La Viñuela. The members of the group enjoy all forms of stitchery as well as other crafts. The weekly meetings are currently held in the small Spanish town of  La Viñuela and, occasionally, in Periana at the home of one of the members.

It is the intention of the group that the profits from future projects will be donated to local charities including Cudeca (a cancer care charity) and CAS (animal charity). See Charity quilts HERE.

This site continues to develop in order to show examples of the projects which the group are involved in as well as completed items of work. Please use the "Meet the Group" menu entry to see what the ladies are up to.

Please Bookmark us and call back again soon. Later this year we expect to change the website address to reflect the new name but, as yet, no decision has been made as to when this will occur.
